Unos 1.000 vuelos han sido cancelados y otros reportan fuertes retrasos este viernes en Francia y otros países como España que ven afectado su tráfico aéreo, tanto por operaciones con el país como por sobrevuelos hacia y desde otros destinos, debido a la huelga de controladores aéreos que incide en casi todo el tráfico europeo. El sindicato de controladores aéreos franceses ya ha lanzado un nuevo preaviso de huelga de tres días, entre el 28 y 30 de septiembre.
El pasado martes 13, el principal sindicato de controladores aéreos del país, Syndicat National des Contrôleurs du Trafic Aérien (SNCTA), convocó la huelga pidiendo aumentos salariales, mejores condiciones laborales y nuevas contrataciones, señalando que la inflación estaba erosionando el sueldo de los trabajadores.
La Dirección General de Aviación Civil (DGAC) francesa pidió a las aerolíneas que redujeran su programa de vuelos en un 50% en la Francia continental y en el extranjero, lo que suponía «alrededor de 1.000 vuelos cancelados» con origen o destino en el país, según una información de la agencia francesa de noticias AFP
No obstante, estas restricciones también afectan a todo el tráfico europeo. Según Eurocontrol, la agencia europea de gestión del tráfico aéreo, habrá «graves perturbaciones» e importantes retrasos durante toda la jornada.

Aena advirtió a través de twitter que 6.000 operaciones programadas en su red, 280 son con Francia, de las que 32 han sido canceladas. También se están viendo afectados vuelos que sobrevuelen el espacio aéreo francés. Posiblemente, se queden en tierra un 50% de las operaciones, en consonancia con la reducción solicitada por Aviación Civil de Francia.
Mientras, Enaire, gestor nacional de navegación aérea, ha adoptado una serie de medidas para minimizar la afección en los vuelos de la huelga de control aéreo en Francia.

En la región Centro Norte se deshabilitó la regla que restringe rutas para sobrevuelos destino Reino Unido para ofrecer más opciones a las compañías aéreas. Con ello, se reencaminan tráficos por Reino Unido para bordear el norte de Francia. Además, se podrían establecer regulaciones en el sector Santiago que serán decididas en función de la demanda de tráfico.
Para evitar las demoras provocadas por las regulaciones de Marsella, los tráficos origen/destino Barcelona o Palma podrán optar por planificar vía espacio aéreo de Argel, evitando el espacio aéreo de Marsella por el sur.

En las regiones Este y Balear, se han coordinado numerosas actuaciones técnicas.
Los despegues de Barcelona vía Argel deberán proceder tomando una determinada altura. También, se deshabilita la restricción que obliga a los despegues de Menorca a volar obligatoriamente por espacio de Marsella para hacerlo por el espacio de Barcelona y Burdeos.
Se prevé durante la jornada de huelga un gran volumen de rutas no standard evitando territorio francés y provocando afección al tráfico aéreo en toda Europa.
Huelga hasta el sábado
La huelga está prevista desde las 6:00 hora peninsular del viernes 16 de septiembre hasta las 6:00 hora peninsular del sábado 17 de septiembre y afecta al personal de control francés, incluyendo tanto aeropuertos como centros de control (ACC) en Francia continental e islas.
Según informa el proveedor de servicio de navegación aérea francés (DSNA), se espera que durante todo el día este viernes se mantenga la configuración de servicios mínimos, en la que la capacidad será determinada en función de la disponibilidad de personal.
