El presidente de la Cámara de Turismo y Comercio Exterior de Paracas (Capatur), Eduardo Jáuregui, informó que más 40000 turistas visitaron la ciudad Paracas, ubicada en la región Ica, durante el reciente feriado largo por Fiestas Patrias.
“Se registró un crecimiento del 30 % a lo alcanzado en Fiestas Patrias 2019. Eso se debe a que Paracas cuenta una buena planta hotelera para todos los bolsillos, restaurantes de primera calidad y, sobre todo, excelente clima”, aseveró Jáugueri.
El funcionario precisó que de los más de 40000 visitantes registrados , el 95% proviene de distintas partes del Perú y el 5 % restante del extranjero. Asimismo, señaló que más de 23000 personas visitaron las islas Ballestas, que forman parte de la Reserva Nacional Sistema de Islas, Islotes y Puntas Guaneras.
Finalmente, el titular de la Capatur resaltó que la cifra alcanzada superó las expectativas estimadas antes del feriado largo, pues los turistas lograron llenar los hoteles de 2 y 3 estrellas. Por su parte, los alojamientos de 4 y 5 estrellas lograron captar a visitantes, la mayoría de Lima, en los dos últimos días.
