La bancada Integridad y Desarrollo del Congreso presentó, recientemente, un nuevo proyecto de ley que plantea eliminar dos tipos de pagos extras que deben realizar los pasajeros al viajar en vuelos aéreos comerciales.
Por un lado, la iniciativa legislativa propone acabar con los pagos adicionales que deben hacer los viajeros para elegir sus asientos en los vuelos. “El pasajero que usa los vuelos comerciales nacionales e internacionales tiene derecho a elegir libremente el asiento de su preferencia, sin pago adicional, dentro de la categoría, tarifa o clase de servicio”, señala el proyecto.
Por otra parte, el proyecto también plantea que los viajeros puedan llevar hasta 10 kilos como equipaje en cabina sin necesidad de realizar un pago extra. El congresista Carlos Zevallos señaló que la iniciativa se plantea tras observar que las compañías del sector han recortado los derechos de sus clientes. “Antes no había esas prácticas abusivas”, afirmó.
